Joined a new petsite recently, it's pretty neat... but i can see why it ended up being ditched by the playerbase. the spritework is cool though!

Another dragon cave release! I'm excited for the pine cone egg, to be honest.

I'm really excited for the hybrid this month, the egg is soooo cute!

Due to Pokefarm's ableism over the QOL CSS that allows people to play without gaining repetitive strain injuries i will no longer feature PFQ adoptables on my website.

Punishing people for using a accessibility option because it's used widely by able bodied people is so obviously disgusting that I don't understand how this suggestion made it past the other staff members. This is seeing disabled and able bodied people using a ramp, deciding you're seeing too many able bodied people, and making it steeper on purpose because you will have to do even more interactions to keep up with whatever interaction point goals you have (+9% estimation by Niet).

New Egg! Its so cutes! Hunters also got new alts but like, they're not new.

Welcome to Virtual Pet Year 2024! This week we'll be talking about Genepet! I found the game very interesting and fun, the only points of criticism I have for it is that replay value isn't too great. The different types of pets mainly affect the diet of the pet and I'm not sure if it affects its interests. I can certainly recommend it if you enjoy primarily text-based management games, however if your monitor is too small you may have trouble playing as the window can extend underneath your task bar.

It's a very interesting game in terms of the world it takes place in, in Genepet's world you can make your own genetically engineered pets. These pets start inside a incubation tank and all your have to do is manage their diet. But as your pet grows they gain intelligence and become more like a child you're raising. I even had my Genepet one day ask me why i created it, and tell me it knew it and its genepet peers was different from normal human children.

I did two playthroughs of Genepet, but I didn't finish the second one due to the replay value not being that great to me. There aren't enough random events for replaying to be appealing to me. Here are the final stats and ending I got with my first pet!


The next game I'm gonna play is Digivice Project! If you start raising now, I will probably end up right behind you, as I started raising a Digimon early, my metal greymon will be all grown up so you won't beat me in online play that easily, but i will be starting a second monster!

i've been playing a lot of eggcave recently, I'm going to be honest I do not like what it has going on, its creature designs are good but making creatures immortal takes so long. its made me start thinking about doing petsite reviews on my petsite neocities, because I have so many opinions on ones i've played for extended periods of time.
